Saturday 9: Money Grabber

1. Has anyone ever intentionally ripped you off? Or perhaps unintentionally? Yes I had someone I thought was a friend steal money from me. Needless to say after that I no longer had anything to do with her.

2. When was the last time that you made a quip that fell completely flat and embarrassed you? Not that I feel embarrassed, but usually on a weekly basis I make a quip about something and am not listened to.

3. When you go to sleep, does it you need to be absolutely quiet or do you need a little noise (radio, TV, music or white)?I can sleep with or without noise.

4. Do you have a memorable “ripped clothing” moment in your life? No? How about in someone else’s? (Come on, you know you have something to contribute!) When my husband and I were dating he jokingly ripped his shirt off(it was pretty old and thinned out)

5. What’s changed on your blog since its inception? …a redo? …a change of pace? …or is it still business as usual?Mostly just changing the background.

6. Can you remember where you were in life ten years ago? If you could travel back in time and whisper something to yourself ten years ago, what would it be? 10 years ago I was a newlywed and had recently found out we were pregnant with my now 9 year old. I think the only thing I would have whispered to myself to make sure I enjoyed it.

7. Okay, let’s have it! What’s the craziest, most impulsive thing you’ve ever done? My first Tattoo, that I must say I don’t regret,but I know I didn’t think it through because I wanted to experience what it felt like. I got a butterfly on my hip area.

8. If you were having a bad day what or who would you turn to for comfort?My husband or  both my closests friends.

9. According to the song White Rabbit, “one pill makes you larger and one pill makes you small“. If you were offered these pills today, which pill would you take and where would it take you? The small one and hoped it meant weight wise lol.

Saturday 9: I Fought the Law

1. Have you ever been on the wrong side of the law? Thankfully No

2. What was the last thing you described as either “surprisingly good” or “surprisingly bad?”Doing something good for someone else <3

3. When was the last time you unintentionally surprised someone else? Its been a few years,but sadly I am not friends with that person anymore.

5. What was the last really funny movie you watched? Bridesmaids….SO funny!!

6. What is something that you’ve never done that you secretly are dying to do? Its not really a secret,but I’d love to go to Hawaii and yes fly on a plane(which I’ve never done and I guess that surprising since I am so afraid of heights)

7. What do you hope is different in your life by August 2012? There are a few things I can think of.

1. Have you and a friend ever have an argument because you were attracted to the same person? I can honestly say no I haven’t.

2. Who never returns your phone calls? No one has done that to me.

5. Would you change anything about your life right now? I like my life the way it is. I just wish I had a different house and made more money.

6. Who is the easiest person for you to talk to? I have 2 people My Husband and My sister.

7. If you could live in any ancient city during the height of the quality of its society and culture, which one would you choose? Probably Greece

8. What is the most exciting event you’ve ever witnessed? Both of my children being born. Both days were the best days of my life <3 next to being married to my best friend <3

9. What do you consider the ideal age to have a first child? 25

Saturday 9: I Wonder What She’s Doing Tonight

1. Have you ever lost a lover and spent way too much time wondering what they were doing? When I was a teen I did. Its sad how you are as a teenager. You take things to heart more than you should.

2. What was your favorite vacation ever? My Honeymoon. We went to Traverse City and had the best time.

3. Do you like surprises? If yes, what kinds? Or are you one of those people who absolutely has to know what’s going on before it happens?I absolutely HATE surprises. Especially when there ones that you should know about. Surprise parties are ok,but otherwise other things really shouldn’t be. I’ve had experiences that bother me because of that.

4. Have you ever written a poem? Feel free to share one. Or even a dirty limerick is OK. Yes I use to write them all the time. They were even going to be published in a poem book. Not sure if it ever was published.

5. Did anything interesting show up in your mail lately besides the bills?Free Samples. I love those hehehe.

6. How many of your friendships have lasted more than ten years? Which of your current friends do you feel will still be important to you ten years from now? Family members don’t count.I have 2 that I think we will be friends for quite awhile.  Can’t picture my life without them.

7. Do you own a pet? If so, do you buy them presents for holidays? Do you consider your pet(s) spoiled? If you don’t own one, do you think you will one day? Yes, we have 3 cats…Zoey Jane,Brutus Heisman Buckeye,and Maggie Maye. We didn’t buy them as gifts,but just because we loved them. They are totally spoiled, but they are my fur babies. Tehy are just as much my children as my own children are. 

8. It’s Friday afternoon and you’re planning your weekend. What’s on your agenda on a hot August night? Spending time with friends or hanging with my family <3

9. What’s your worst nervous habit?I have to be a perfectionist about everything and at times it can be an annoyance and a pain.

Saturday 9: I’m Not in Love

1. Have you ever been in love but tried to deny it? Never Denied when I felt love.

2. Someone throws a party in your honor. The only guests are your past lovers. You’re current spouse or significant other is cool with this. They ask you to speak and say something good about those assembled. Would there be someone there you could not say something good about? I am sure someone in the group would get told what I really think of them.

3. How long can you go without your cell phone? Do you own a so-called “smart phone”? I can’t go long without it. Its the only way someone can get ahold of me. I do not have a smartphone,but my husband does.

4. Do you believe everyone deserves a second chance? Yes I do and I have given people second chances. You only get that once with me and if you screw up, then its done.

5. Would you rather spend a whole day with your mom or your dad? (If either or both have passed, answer as if they’re alive.) Both

6. Tell us one thing about your first boyfriend or girlfriend. It was 3rd grade and he kissed me in front of the whole class one day.

7. Has an ex ever written something about you on facebook or their blog that was nasty about you? Thankfully,No

8. What was the last thing you borrowed and never returned? Movies from an ex-friend.

9. Who is someone famous that you’ve met? The band Sick Puppies…Love them <3

1) Be totally honest… Could money buy you happiness (even if it’s only for a little while)?  Maybe long enough to pay off some bills

2) Today (July 29) is “National Lasagna Day.” What is your pasta dish of choice? If you like lasagna, are you a traditional lasagna type of person or are you into the vegetarian kind with eggplant instead of noodles?  Love Spaghetti

3) How do you feel about people who get permanent makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow, etc. tattooed on the face so the person never has to actually put on makeup again)? Not really something I am into and plan to never do.

4) The Nickelodeon company has reintroduced its hit teen sitcoms from the ’90s (like “All That,” “Kenan & Kel,” “Clarissa Explains It All,” and “Doug“) on its TeenNick channel and has broke ratings records doing it. It has also sent the Twitter trending topics into a TeenNick frenzy. Is it too soon to be bringing back the ’90s? No,those shows we actually pretty decent and I can show my kids what I use to watch

5) Some women go totally insane for men in uniforms and vice versa. How do you feel about people in uniform? Honestly it depends on the person. I usually find most Guys in a uniform pretty attractive.

6) When you go to a movie theater, what food/drink items do you get from the concession stand? Usually popcorn and pop.

7) My entire refrigerator/freezer is covered in magnets. What kind of magnets are on yours?  Kids picture magnets,cute one,coke ones,etc.

A recent report by the Center for Science in the Public Interest says Cheesecake Factory’s Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake contains 1,540 calories and 59 grams of saturated fat, but Saturday (July 30) is “National Cheesecake Day.” Are the calories and fat grams worth the tastiness of cheesecake? Totally worth it if its good!

9) Febreze has started a new ad campaign in which they blindfold people and take them into a dirty disgusting room which has been sprayed down with Febreze. When the blindfolds come off, the people are shocked at their surroundings. (Watch a commercial here.) Would you be mad if you signed up to star in a commercial only to find yourself sitting in a room of complete filth? I would be really ticked and its not something I would want to realize I was sitting in.

10) Do you think hair shampoo and conditioner bottles really need to have directions? No not really. Its obvious what you do with it.

1. Tell us about something that made you laugh last night. What didn’t lol…It was a good night with friends who are like family to me <3

2. What were you doing at 8 PM last night?  Having some Drinks,Singing,Dancing and just enjoying time with friends

3. What were you doing 30 minutes ago? Watching Tv with my husband and relaxing.

4. What happened to you in 2006? (Feel free to republish an old post from ’06.) I can’t remember a whole lot, but I am sure it was similar to my life now.

5. What was the last thing you said out loud? I told my husband I was going to put clothes in the dryer and start another load in the washer.

6. How many beverages did you have today? 1 and its flavored water

8. What was the last thing you paid for? Groceries

9. Where were you last night? At a friends house

11. Where do you keep your change?  In my wallet

Saturday 9: White Wedding

1. Tell us about the most recent wedding you attended. My Niece Evelyn’s wedding in May.

2. Do you enjoy attending weddings, or do they bore you to tears? I Love weddings, but yes sometimes the Pastor can bore me.

3. Does marriage in general make you feel confident and good inside, or skeptical? I think Marriage is a wonderful thing and some people take it for granted.

4. Do you have a photo blog? (If so, feel free to share the link with us.) I share photos in this blog.

5. Do you find yourself driving less due to the high gas prices?  Somewhat yes. Mostly sticking to around home.

6. What’s the high temperature today where you are? Today its suppose to be 90 and humid.

7. “It’s not the heat, it’s the humidity.” Agree, or no? Yes and No. Sometimes the Humidity its unbearablr, but this past week it was definitely the Heat that was the worst part.

8. What’s the hottest you’ve ever been in your life? 103

9. Non-temperature related last question: In your opinion… who’s hot? Well my husband of course! Celebrity wise I think Ryan Reynold’s is pretty hot!
